Foxgloves Seasons

I have not been a great fan of foxgloves but lately they have grown on me. They are a bit of an "acquired taste" for me. Like many flowers I find them quite difficult to photograph in an interesting way but they add great spots of colour in landscape scenes. In the shot below I liked how they worked together with the dry stone wall. They seem to also grow freely in shaded areas at this time of year and I wonder if they would do well in my front garden instead of hollyhocks and lupins that I planted from roots but am seeing no signs of yet.
